Pros

1. The J.P. Morgan brand is globally recognised and respected, definitely looks good on a resume 2. High calibre colleagues with good blend of experience, diligence and aptitude 3. Clear career path with strong focus on internal promotion

Cons

1. Bureacracy and politics constantly rears its ugly head 2. Work/life balance non-existent, high pressure/demanding environment (not always necessarily a bad thing but does drag on non-work life) 3. HR function was a nightmare to deal with

Pros

Pay package is good. Work life balance is good. Managers do not make a fuss about leaves. Transparency is there

Cons

If you want to work on latest technologies, this is not the place for you. Appraisal system is based on perception
