Pros

Open door policy with upper management is nice. Tasks being outsourced frequently and roles and responsibility change just as often. d

Cons

I have had a hard time networking outside the IB roles. The newark location for Financial Control makes it tough to contact middle/front office

Pros

Great training programme. 8 weeks of general accounting/finance, presentational and team-bldg skills and series 7 crash course. On the job everyone takes on a holistic approach. It feels normal to ask other people how to do things if you don't know. Very easy to find answers if you just ask....

Cons

Prepare yourself to work investment banking hours in asset management w/o the ib-like bonuses. Lack of emphasis on work-life balance for junior employees. Team activities should be more frequent.

Pros

The brand name of JPM carries major weight on your resume (depending on position). You can't go wrong with almost 5 weeks of vacation time to start (including holidays).

Cons

Salary is sub par, comparatively. You're eligible for 401k benefits only after 1 year.
