Pros

Just a nice package for full time slavery and harassment .

Cons

Many! 1. Old employees politics to corner new employees . 2. No KT no training to new employees .total dependency on old employees ,hence. 3. Disrespectful culture towards women employees. I was literally physically harassed by one of the male employee in JPMC cab and when u reported the incident, nothing happened . They just try to show women empowerment fake speeches but nothing for real. 4. Managers are real idiots here. They are directionless.plus drinking and smoking partners with the old employees who do nothing just talk about drinks all the time. 5. Old employees are some bunch of losers always cornering new employees and giving wrong feedback to managers . 6. Workplace is not at all professional. 7. Why do u hire new employees only to disrespect and harass them . 8. Request everyone to consider all these things before joining this bad company. If you are in India , please don’t join this company. You can rather be jobless than joining this firm.and thank me later!

Pros

- New Office, Good pay but is not the best in town. Central location. - Some smart Engineers around, so you can learn a lot from them. - Tech stack is not that bad considering you will be working for a bank. Nowadays, everything is moving towards cloud, microservices architecture type of thing so they try to stay with the trend. - Their current CI/CD process is in need of a lot of improvement but it always depends on the product you're working on. I've seen worse in some other places I worked before. - They sell the place as an Innovation Tech Hub but is far from that. Things are moving slow and a lot more that can be done. However, they do some great things as well, like tech talks etc.

Cons

- Process driven. To introduce a new library or tech stack is quite hard but not impossible. Be ready to hit a wall when it comes to that. Remember, it is a bank and is pretty much like that in all banks. It all comes down to security, procedures, approval on top of approvals. - If you get an offer, ensure that you will check with the Hiring Manger that whatever is being promised in terms of benefits, like working from home, flexibility etc is applicable in the team you will end up working in. - Never trust the recruiter. Everything they promise to you can be overruled by the management in the US office as most of the Managers in Dublin have their direct in the US. So if the US will say "jump", he will "jump" and as a result you will have to jump as well. - Remember that this is not applicable for all Managers. Some are working for JP for a long time and they know how to handle certain things. Therefore, they have really "crucial people management skills", with lots of experience and know how to "tackle" sensitive stuff so their teams are grand but some are a "no go zone". Check the facts before going to sign up the contract.

Pros

-Decent CTC, bonus -Decent cafeteria, daily meal coupon -Free cab

Cons

Joining J.P.Morgan might be the biggest mistake of my life. First to start with recruiting HR's will introduce themselves as product based org but make no mistake they are nothing but a service based company with good benefits. If you are more into money, this is a place for you, but if you are passionate for software development with highest standards, stay away. People here are only focused on delivery and making business happy at any expense. Its exactly similar to companies like TCS, CTS. In my short span, I have never seen anyone discussing and documenting design in length. I was quite shocked watching the quality of code. Also productivity is measured not in terms of output but time you spend in your office. You are required to fill time sheet of 8 hours and expected to stay in 10 hours. Also one of the higher management plainly mentioned this is not a place for you if you want flexible timings. What is most disappointing about it is unwillingness to change. Even if you have some suggestions for improvements, if something is working why change it.
