Pros

Open source software, ability to choose your own tools for tasks, city centre location, nice office, ability to move within company, looks good on your CV.

Cons

Terrible line managers, islands of knowledge, Lotus Notes, staff that stab each other in the back as bonuses/promotions are based on relative rankings rather than absolute performance.
