Good pay and benefits. Flexible work environment. Things are changing @ Intel after 2007 SET activities. Programs like free fruit and drinks are small perks helpful to improve employee moral.

Cons

Limited growth options, Stagnant after reaching higher grade.

Pros

technology leaders in the world of semiconductor. At this time intel is going in all the fields so to learn about any new technology that will be shaping the future in terms of wireless and chipset this is the place to work.

Cons

Management is really poor. The upper level is not able to see the engineering morale and the reason of its being low. the main reason of this is immidiate managers. Its not that all the managers are not employee friendly but as they control your focal sometimes they think that they own you and you work for them not intel. It will be better if upper management spend some time in seeing which managers are not coming upto there standards and feedback should be taken from engineering staff not from the fellow managers.

Good internal employee website for personal life/work management. This makes employee better managing on company expense, health benefit, 401k/sock ... etc. Intel is also a world class leader in Semiconductor industry. This provide a higher visiblity in resume. In addition, creates a better net work wo various department in the company

Cons

Employee performance should be regonize by manger and yearly performance should be determine more farily. Management needs to improve. In addition, work load should be balance and distribute it farily.
