Pros

Good Infrastructure.Good training for Freshers, if you are from non IT background and want to make a career out of IT. But after staying for a year or so, it becomes very frustrating as their policies start to haunt and torture you.

Cons

I personally had very bad experience as my manager tortured me at Infosys. But since it is a big company, joining a fresh project is like working in an altogether new company. So the work environment depends on the project. If you join there, Be very selective and ask project team members ,and enquire thoroughly, before joining any project. If they force you to join, then leave Infosys.

Pros

1. Good landscape and nice buildings. Honestly, there are no pros I see in this company now after spending roughly about 7 years. Its all full of lies now. I will put all those in the Cons section probably.

Cons

1. Poor compensation even after compensation review. At times, when the company didnt hike the salary for the revenue-earner SEs, TAs and TLs, they increased the salary of Mr. Pai to roughly about 3.5 crores and that of Ms Gurjar to about 1 cr. Isnt that hypocracy? 2. No values in projects anymore. Most of the projects are either production support or typical documentation work. Nobody will ever learn the industry practices anymore. 3. Poor career growth after IRace rollout. They dont have the capability to lead a company of more than a lakh employees and they are still recruiting people. 4. Problems of mediocrity - either the new recruits are not well-trained or they are mediocre enough to not be to the mark for the job. 5. Least I say about the compensation package, the better. They made employees look like beggars after making them to work for 14-15 hours with crap resources. 6. Doesnt value employees - poor working condition. Policies such as restricted internet access, $20 as internet reimbursement (ask them if they can get a Broadband anywhere in the US at $20?), no proper relocation reimbursement, no clarity in salary components when you get relocated etc. made it look like a third-graded company. 7. No transparency in work now - all full of white lies. Its high time they should change their catchline now. There are no "Values" and absolutely no "intellect" whatsoever in the current top and middle management leadership.
