Pros
I do really like my colleagues and try to be a positive presence but it is hard when morale is so low. There are opportunities to get free treatments however these are training treatments -because the MPs have just as high of a turnover so proceed with caution when volunteering to be a model.
Cons
Micromanagement- it would be easier to hit goals if we didn’t have to report every move we make to so many different people or write morning emails when we can physically speak to our clinic in less time than drafting and sending an email they won’t even read or respond to. You’re already literally recording us on our computers so why do I need to take an hour each day to tell everyone what I’m doing. You already know. Just send me the feedback. Trickle up system- all your managers get bonuses based on your performance. Once you hit the sales floor you’re a number to them. In clinic? Both MPs and CCs will start dumping every single body into your office in their attempt to reach their own sales goals- these are not qualified leads or prospects- they eat up your whole day and you leave with zero sales less the occasional $50 touch up. Lose/lose situation. Chaos- I have at least 5 different “managers”. I still don’t even know who takes precedence and who I should directly report to. They all want something different from you (because it affects their bonus) or tell you conflicting information. Low morale- in clinic ACs will have to deal with angry customers, angry employees (very high turnover here), a dated and conservative dress code, dated facilities, and expectations that entice new hires with uncapped commissions but depending on your clinic you may be doomed to miss out on sales due to lack of coverage or abysmal Google/BBB reviews.
