Pros

Free treatments unless you leave 90 days post service and have to pay back at full retail value. Free treatments during training.

Cons

Worst corporation I have ever experienced. Unapproachable and manipulative leadership. Revolving door of Regional Managers. Zero consistency. Sales are the only thing that matters and they will fire you without notice. If you challenge them they will retaliate and find any reason to get rid of you. Medical staff runs unchecked. Horrible attitudes to staff and guests. Constantly making wrong assessments but no one holds accountable. They say they have “medical regionals” and Preceptors to help coach but are all young kids that have never been in leadership roles and cannot handle conflict so they ignore requests for help. Medical staff does not respect New Center Managers because they are not “medical” and have retail backgrounds. HR is filled with Drama and selective in what they support you in. If you have an issue with upper management or a corporate individual consider your issue dead in the water... until corporate needs ammunition to fire someone. Constantly in fear of losing your job. This culture breeds fear, lies and negativity in the Centers. This company needs to be Unionized!

Ideal Image goes to great lengths to retain our associates. We promote from within the organization when possible and will not discriminate based on age. Sales are a necessity for all for profit companies and we have increased sales by providing services that benefit our guests and providing excellent customer service. We only hire experienced center managers and provide them with comprehensive training. Our leadership team has an open-door policy and responds to feedback from all Ideal Image associates.

Pros

Decent pay and that is about it.

Cons

My schedule changed more than 5 times over a year and a half working there. Not good if you want a stable schedule as it is hard to make plans for future things. You are expected to stay late if a same day treatment has to be done, it does not matter. You have no say. Not good benefits- 2 weeks PTO, no sick pay/no unpaid time off, no 401k matching, healthcare plan is expensive and not good. Management is not healthcare trained, they are from retail settings and have no medical background/experience working with healthcare providers. Management only cares about making money, and not about happy employees.

Our employee schedules reflect the needs of our guests; however, our center managers try to make the schedule fair and palatable for our associates. Nurses who come from the hospital setting love our hours of operation. Our associates receive 2 weeks of paid time off, paid holidays and 2 flex days their 1st year of employment. After 1 year of employment they receive 3 weeks of paid time off. Our associates can carry 5 days of vacation over to the next year and we give them the whole following year to use those days. Our benefits are comprehensive, and we provide free short-term disability and life insurance. We use one of the largest health insurance companies, so the provider network includes most of our employees’ doctors. Ideal Image pays 75% of the health care costs for our associates and we have not increased our rates for spouse, depended and family coverage over the last 2 years. We just added a parental policy to help support our associates who are starting or have growing families. After 1 year of employment the parental policy provides up to 8-12 weeks of full pay based on years of service and the type of leave needed. In addition to Center Managers and Regional Directors, we have local Medical Preceptors, Medical Regionals, Medical Directors and a Medical Affairs team to support our nursing staff.

Pros

Free services, just be careful not to quit or get fired for 3 months- otherwise you have to pay back the retail cost. No nights.

Cons

Constant turn over with management and regionals. Sales people that try to drive the medical side.

Thank you for your 5 years of services. Turnover can be very frustrating and we are committed to retaining our valued associates.
