Low Morale

Pros

The employees that still work here are trying their best to stay positive amid changing job hours, services, pay and leadership.

Cons

High turnover for many reasons. Competitors are moving in to our markets and no one seems to address it. Morale very low. Everyone is hoping things turn around soon. Work more, get paid less. No work life balance. No longer a successfully marketed company (radio).

Ideal Image Response

Our employees are excited about offering our guests new cutting edge services that will enhance their appearance and self-confidence. Employee morale is high. We are still advertising on the radio and recently launched TV advertising campaigns. Companies trying to replicate Ideal Image is a form of flattery. We recognize that change is not easy for some and will continue to try and guild our employees through positive company changes.

Pros

There are no pros to this company because they are liars and had a horrible experience extremely toxic retaliation culture.

Cons

I should have known better when CEO quit. Management is the worst! They are extremely demeaning. They hire you for one job and then tell you you have to do another job that you were not hired for. Could never answer how the commission structure worked promise to make a certain amount but then say it was a “bonus“ and not commission set unrealistic expectations that you’re going to make 25% bonus but no one is ever going to make bonus. They will lie to you about how much you get paid said it would be hybrid but really they want you to work full-time in the office so they can micromanage you. Everyone is extremely cutthroat and people will call you on teams and make threats if you take their leads. I have no idea how this company is still in business they lead people into overpriced services with loans. They are not properly training anyone on services. Most of the clinics aren’t even open to make appointments because they don’t pay the injectors enough. The whole company is a joke! The training was insufficient, and one of the trainers was extremely rude and unprofessional, but so is everybody else in management. The companywide team huddles have very low morale.

Pros

Fully remote was an amazing and useful opportunity.

Cons

Everything else. Bulleted for convenience. - CEO required us to be on camera in order to perform lay-offs. As soon as questions were asked, conversation was shut down but we were expected to continue working another full day. - Ideal refused to pay you your remaining PTO while simultaneously making you feel bad if you had to use it. - We were laid off in the middle of a pay period and then given a despicable 2 weeks of severance. - This has been one of MANY mass layoff events I have been present for in two years of service here. - You are also micromanaged and given more than you are able to get done in a shift with ridiculously high expectations and grossly low pay.
