Pros

Great breath and depth in the fintech industry. If you are lucky, you could have a lot of opportunity and learn a lot.

Cons

The upper management/leadership does not inspire confidence -- it was obvious they were clueless and fire fighting; most decisions were reactive. Bad company culture -- managers take cue from the highest management, which is cut-throat, zero-sum, exploitative.

The Sinking ship

Pros

None, Salary used to be above market pre covid.

Cons

- Hopeless, clueless management. With India offices as cost averaging centres. - Everything needs supreme’s approval and everything gets delayed due to this. Salary increments being one. - Worst Human Resources, with no skill of communicating with compassion with employees. Flat direct emails, a sort of threat. - Distributed firm, with many groups, line of businesses and locations. There is never a sense of team work for those who are hired in India for cost averaging of offshore teams. - Trying too hard to create an image but thats evidently superficial.

Avoid at all costs

Pros

None besides working from home. Then again, that's not particularly uncommon nowadays.

Cons

Terrible management on all levels. People who pride themselves as being the "Alpha and Omega" or "uber b*tch" on their social media profiles are given middle management positions instead of their more experienced peers. As a matter of fact, there are never announcements for new positions or if they do get sent out, it's already too late and the choice has been made. No real room for career growth. Offensively low remuneration and no perks whatsoever. No wait, there is an annual bonus (handed out in April, or in February, or never, noone seems to be certain) but it's not based on performance - it's just the same for everyone and it's lower than a months' salary. Top management are mostly oblivious to the existence of regional branches.
