Pros

I am relatively new to working with ION but I am so impressed with how everything has gone so far. From friendliness of staff to having my passwords and laptop at the ready, I felt very settled and part of the team on the first day. Nice open plan office here in Dublin, everyone is so approachable including the CFO and any of the Management team. If you are looking to be challenged, have exposure to senior staff and enjoy interacting with different employees from all over the world, you will love it!

Cons

So far none and if the above is anything to go by, it will be an exciting for months ahead for me her at ION.

Pros

No pros to working here at all besides the nice colleagues I’ve met

Cons

Everything. ION is a penny pinching company and extremely unstable. They take away luxuries such as snacks and company gatherings (by limiting the budget) and then gut entire teams, dispersing tasks to already stressed and overworked employees. This is a job you will have to give yourself a pep talk every morning to simply make it through each day. At this rate, they will continue to lose clients who value integrity and respect and not heavily numbers driven

Pros

The people you'll be working with at a mid to low level in this company are highly skilled at their job. Huge opportunity to learn and grow in your career if you are at a relatively early stage. Very nice new office in the city center.

Cons

Upper management struggles to push back on C-suite decisions (potentially there's no ability to push back) leaving the rest of the company to run with less then optimal choices. Most of this companies issues stem from a poor C-suite and those directly below them. Massive amounts of random layoffs have create zombie projects as key people were let go and incredible inefficiencies were created throughout the company.
