Can this owner take any more costs out of the business? The answer often seems to be yes. The demographic shift within the firm appears deliberate and is visible to many. When a company hires large numbers of graduates each year, regularly removes lower, and mid-ranked performing employees, and does not meaningfully replace experienced staff, the workforce gradually shifts toward a lower-cost and younger profile by design. The headcount cuts have started in May 2025 and continued for months on end, with new rounds every month.
