Pros

a job you can have for the next 6 months

Cons

Can this owner take any more costs out of the business? The answer often seems to be yes. The demographic shift within the firm appears deliberate and is visible to many. When a company hires large numbers of graduates each year, regularly removes lower, and mid-ranked performing employees, and does not meaningfully replace experienced staff, the workforce gradually shifts toward a lower-cost and younger profile by design. The headcount cuts have started in May 2025 and continued for months on end, with new rounds every month. The result is a workplace where many employees feel there is limited long-term career perspective, limited growth, and limited protection. That is the reality many associate with ION.

Pros

I get to work from home and have a grand-fathered in unlimited PTO policy. And that's about it.

Cons

RUN. This is just a horrible company to work for. Either you are living in constant fear of being fired or you are so overworked you feel like you have to work 60 hours a week just to do the bare minimum. The CEO, Andrea, is just gutting everything, doing mass layoffs over and over again. He has no clear visit for the company, goal posts keep changing, and everyone is setup to fail.
