Pros

People, flexible, location, easy commute

Cons

Weird policies, Making it mandatory for vaccinated people to work from office, earlier than most IT companies. Why punish the vaccinated? No perks, limited facilities.

Pros

Fidessa use to be a decent company to work for before the merge with Ion Group...no pros to report

Cons

No directive, completely unrealistic expectations from employees, not open to make change for the better, absolutely has no concern or remorse for their employees.....just the worst business to work for. The average work day is 14 + hours and weekends, no pay increases or bonuses and if they do it's paid nearly a year late and a waste of change added to your check. The merger process of Fidessa Corp was horrible. They let people go without a backup plan so and is given to people that has no experience in the field of work of the former employee. No training so you are on your own to figure it out. It's a horrible feeling to feel like any day can be your last.

Pros

Compensations are good provided your manager is not in India. Indian management is pathetic.

Cons

Everything else you could talk about. Indian managers are worst. Its like old school managers who talk bad, judge based on how your time is inline with the managers timings. If he is leaving past 8 so should you else you are not a good employee at all no matter what you do. Specially the trade processing teams are worst. No humanity at all. It's like a mafia in Indian teams. Manager is God and you shall worship by all means you can, by showing off how much you laugh at his jokes, leaving late and coming early. These people are so pathetic that they can even ask a new mom, who is calling the team for a party at her house for the new kid and the managers asks her to work that day and when she even asks to manage working on Sunday to compensate then the manager replies, its not my problem, manage howsoever you can. And all this when no release or high priority issue or something is pending where business would be impacted that too by working of that single lady on a Saturday when she had a function at home for the new born baby. This is the level of people there. The team in other countries working on the same project have all together different environment. All the good work that comes, is handled by mafia manages in that team and their favourites who are part of their group. All others are worthless to them who are supposed to complete the left over parts and follow all the rules which are not followed by them or their favourites. Even the compensations are impacted. People went into self improvement programs loosing their integrity and self esteem and confidence because these guys act like bullies. Who will confront you for work which is even the responsibility of their favourites but you are the ones responsible for all the mistakes in the team and their own mistakes are never talked about in their so called scrum meetings and no one can dare to talk about them either else you will be Targeted by all possible means through compensation to work allotments to inclusiveness in the team to even general humanitarian behaviour to at least talk to sub ordinates properly like a human. I would say even if you have no other option look for other options because joining there, you might end up scratching your head for nothing and that might take you ages to recover from.
