      Like most reviews I would strongly advise against working here if you value your sanity. Toxic work environment driven by Senior Management, in a culture of blame and stress. Severe micromanagement where you spend more time giving updates on your work than being able to do the work itself. No consideration of time zones leading to a non existant work / life balance as you are expected to log on and reply to emails at any given hour. Honestly the worst company I have ever worked for. Much better jobs out there with companies who value and respect their staf

      Pros

      The original companies owned by ION have some great products. Could still be useful for someone fresh out of colleague to get some experience on their resume.

      Cons

      Management buys companies and just drives them into the ground. Gets rid of all innovation and investment in the product. Fires staff or encourages attrition so every team is running so lean there is no cover or redundancy. Teams are running maintenance only and struggling to cover that. Depending on the team the work life balance is non-existent. People gate keep knowledge because it's the only thing that might stop them getting fired without notice. All pay and hiring decisions have to be personally approved by the ceo so they drag their feet with everything.

      Went through the entire interview and super-day process in December and January. I got a verbal offer and then was basically ghosted for 5 months. Everyone once in awhile I would get an email saying they were still processing my formal offer. Finally 6 months after getting my verbal offer I got an automated email which said they could no longer offer employment. This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever been through. I will never do business with this company and have told my, peers, friends, family, colleagues, etc. the same. Thank god I had found another job during the time I was waiting to get the formal offer letter.
