Pros

i have none for the company

Cons

This company is extremely unprofessional in not only their hiring process but their correspondence. Shortly after the Superday for their LDP, I received a verbal offer stating that a formal offer is coming in the next few days and is just awaiting HR approval. Weeks pass & I reach out, only to be told that they are still waiting on approval. Then a month and a half with no contact & being completely ghosted by all contacts within the organization. I then receive an email 2 months after the initial offer saying they can no longer offer me full time employment. Horrible management and set up. Extremely embarrassing for the company.

Pros

This is a great company to join fresh out of college. The LDP program is designed to give grads a full view of the company, tech + finance industries and responsibilities beyond a standard entry level job. You will also get the chance to be challenged and work with extremely intelligent people who are willing to put aside additional time to help you develop professionally. Because you come in with other graduates, you also have a strong community of people with similar interests as you. The company is relatively lean, so there are many opportunities to take on real business challenges and improve them. Some rotations also involve global travel, which is a plus for many.

Cons

Some offices are more high pressure work environments than others. There is a visible hierarchy and turnover is somewhat common outside the program. ION is heavily acquisition-focused, meaning many companies are brought together in short periods of time. This makes it difficult to identify a strong company culture.
