Pros
Given lots of autonomy by management, both to select the projects I work on and how I approach these projects. Management uses business analytics regularly to monitor the business and identify issues that need addressing. For the most part, individual managers care about their employees and do everything they can to support us.
Cons
It is a big company, and takes time to learn your way around so that you can have a greater impact on the business. A common problem for large organizations. To mitigate this there is extensive deployment and use of social media tools within the company.
