Pros
worklife balance, teleworking, salary is just average. Not sure if this is really a pro, but lots of people get away with doing nothing at all. Obviuosly, this is not a pro if you're one of the silly ones who end up doing their job in addition to your own.
Cons
IBM is aggressively laying off all around the world, even products which are very profitable. Their way of brining up the value of shares is just to cut off costs by reducing employees. In Italy, they're currently selling out the Workload Scheduler, a product which earns 170 million dollars while costing only 10. The whole of the Rome software lab, once a major development and innovation center is now at risk. Kind of makes you wonder why should bend over backwards to meet their demands when you're just a number to them...Depressing and disheartening...
