Pros
Good benefits, and lots of education possibilities. Also lots of smart people around to talk to and get help from.
Cons
Too much oversight by middle management. There were also updates and personal reviews that had to be submitted, but I always felt like I never received the amount of time in kind back from management. Salary increases are also very small, the only way to get a real increase in salary was to leave the company and then come back in a year, otherwise you are usually capped at single digits, most often less than 5%, even after super-billable years.
