Pros

If you like a Big Company

Cons

Stovepipe old school - most often heard thing -- I've been at IBM XX Years and we don't do it that way. It is very a large company, and it is not customer focused. The stovepipes of responsibility and the lack of reward for a good job (they reward everyone about the same) means that nobody takes charge. I think the company is capable of change, but it will take some pain to force it.

Pros

Very good company to work for. Excellent benefits and many job opportunities in many places as it is a global company.

Cons

Long hours. Salaries are lower than average for position. I applied for a position and the pay was not what I was expecting at all. They would not even negotiate with you. It was either take it or leave it.
