Pros

You get to know a lot of different people Staff discount 25% not awesome but I couldn't think of anything else that is more positive

Cons

All higher managers are friends with each other and gossip about employees while holding each other's backs. Even the HR staff is friends with them so you can't leave complaints to anyone. If they decide that they don't like you there's is nothing you can do with your career there even if you are really good at what you do. They act like kids in high school. Lots of fakeness. Bullying mentality. Staff feels depressed and treated badly. No respect for personal life outside work. Bad hours. Hard work. Low pay. You feel tired and drained every day.

Pros

Very values-oriented company. Great product selections. Very good on-going training programs. The ability to build great professional relationships with store team is fantastic.

Cons

Where to begin: The company has seemed to have lost it's way via it's "rapid growth period", especially in a "certain" Southern market. VERY(read: next to non-existent) poor communication with most of the District team members. Many people are poorly placed in their various roles without nary a clue of what they are doing, from the recruiter sourcing poor candidates to lead new stores(leading to unprecedented turnover from committed store team members), to facilities managers that take weeks to address known safety and operating issues. Most egregious of the many challenges are the broken promises towards a path of growth with the company. This was a company that really prided themselves on promotion from within. However, that came with a catch, as in only if you were liked, no matter how well you performed at your job. It's rather unfortunate to have witnessed how low the morale of our market became in such a short amount of time...

Pros

Nice Sales staff, benefits - 25% off in stores, pension scheme, management get extra benefits i.e, yearly health exam

Cons

Corrupt management in stores & area team - work together to make it hell on the other staff. Heard a few times 'We'll just push until they leave' They DO push until people they decide the personally don't like leave, these are people who have never done anything wrong, as written in their appraisals, the management just push them to leave. Do not go by their own 'values' One thing applies to one person and different to another, depending on if te manager likes you will determine how you are treated store wide & by the area team Store managers lying to the area about the staff Store manager forging documents and passing the blame & forcing people to leave when they tried to call them out Store managers adjusting 'swipe' times and worked hours to doc the pay and charges to the stores. NO work life balance, heard many times 'you don't get spare time' 'this is your life'
