Pros

I've worked for Great Clips for the last 7 years and they have invested time and money in order to train me to be the best possible manager! They offer hundreds of continuing education courses for their stylists, from haircut trends to efficiency training. Great Clips helped for me in to the stylist and manager that I am today.

Cons

Open a lot of hours and short staffed, can be very busy and stressful. However, when it's busy you can make a TON of money! Very lucrative career.

Our cutting system and advised haircut times are based on years of data we have collected showing the optimal time it takes to complete a quality haircut. Every customer deserves a personal experience and more time may be needed with some to be sure that happens. Clearly, others take less time. Thank you for having been a part of a great community of stylists and managers.

Pros

As a manger for 13 yers it has been wonderful training and watching the stylists grow. It is challenging at times but quite rewarding. It has been a daily learning experience. It teaches you to think and take each person as your team member and challenge them to grow.

Cons

Sometimes it’s challenging to schedule effectively when you need additional staffing. But, I’ve learned to just cut the hair and stay positive and focused. In the end it seems to always work out.
