Pros

Loads of customers and loads of experience for anyone just starting out! Just not the job for someone wanting to work in color or any other area of Cosmetollogy. If you need us. Cutting hair you can't beat it. You cut all kinds of hair all day long one every 15 minutes. If you don't know how to cut that fast you will soon learn how to. Some of the best people I've ever worked with have been in the salon!!

Cons

Where to start. The hours are long and expected. The customer service is only as good as you can provide in 10 to 15 minutes because that's all you have to finish haircuts period that starts from the moment you sign the person in to the moment you cash them out so you're 10 to 15-minute haircut is really another 5 minutes less than that. Some people men and women as well need more time to explain how they would like their haircut which is going to be worn by them for the next 6 to 8 weeks. No wonder they are particular about how they look when they walk out the door. But they don't understand that you only are giving a short time to finish the work AKA cut their hair.

Pros

Depends on the franchisees & location. Some good some horrible. Tips are good, again depending on location.

Cons

Minimum wage hourly pay! If you are in a busy store the tips make up for it. "Flexibility" will depend on the franchisee. Some think they own you & it can be difficult if you have a family or a life outside of work. Some managers are lazy & on a power trip, as well as rude, inconsiderate co workers. It's definitely just a job to pay the bills, not a lifetime career because there's no benefits. A lot of rules & regulations and don't expect any positive feedback for a job well done. You will only hear the negative. There's better places to work.

I don't see any pros I can't add anything else cause there isn't anything

Cons

They don't know how to cut hair that is why they don't want to training
