Excellent Atmosphere among the stylist Bosses who actually want to see you further your career Excellent training opportunities to advance you skills Great for any level of stylist to join our team

Cons

The Stigma behind the "type" of Salon we are and how some people think that only unqualified stylists work here.

Pros

fast pace, only does hair cuts and occasionally perms so more customers come in and out making it so you get more tip money. Their are lots of opportunity to move up in the company to eventually even corporate. you also make hourly plus commision plus your tips. and if you are looking for part time they usually are very flexible

Cons

you only make 8.25 hourly so if you don't make much commision and you are in a slower location you aren't making as much money. lots of people quit and get fired so it makes it hard to have consistency and get your shift covered. in my specific syracuse location there was a bit of drama with in the employees and we are always short staffed and you pretty much always stay past your shift and sometimes dont get a lunch.

Pros

It's constantly busy with constant shared customer flow. The salon runs on teamwork. Paid training, bonuses, 401 k, Aflac are offered. Flexible schedules can be accommodated.

Cons

Just like any place of work, finding the right staff is a time consuming and trial and error. We try to keep a full staff but since we are always growing sometimes we don't have enough staff on to serve the high customer counts.
