Pros

I really enjoy working for Expedia. I feel the leadership is fair, clear and helpful. We are navigating through difficult times and there is no guidebook on how to handle staff reductions and major changes to work environements. All things considered I am pleased with the way change is managed.

Cons

There is very little work life balance. You are really working and needing to be accountable 24-7. Good news is most of us love what we do so that is not a problem. Expedia tends to have highly capable type A personalities so there is a lot of competition but enough interesting work to go around.

Pros

Great Career Opportunities , lots of Recognition & Feedback , allow for good Work / Life Balance . If you are good , they will recognize you . Awards are seldom monetary . But they do give out awards recognizing employees. Awesome place to learn and grow in the online marketing and travel industry . I was not aware of how complex this industry is till I joined in . You can also make a career out of EXPE if you don't plan to move too often. They have offices all over the world as well and you can try to work from home as well.

Cons

Compensation can be better. It is the largest online travel agent with highest revenues in the world.

Pros

Great leaders, who are constantly working to improve and walk the walk. Good work environment with diverse employees. Fun culture, with lots of ways to get involved and interact if desired.

Cons

Fast pace, have to bring your 'A' game! Attrition has been a problem, but seems to have gotten better over the last couple years, especially amongst the executive group.
