Pros

Billie was assigned to me as my Talent Agent, and she guided me through the recruitment process from start to finish. She was very friendly and always available to answer any questions. She gave me my first impression of Octopus and the culture of the Company, and heavily impacted my decision to continue through the interview process and eventually accept the role. Thank you Billie! I had a series of 4 interviews, meeting different members of the team each time. They were all very friendly and accurately represented life at Octopus. Overall, I accepted the job very well informed regarding both the position and Octopus as a Company. I really appreciated being able to feel confident that the role was what I was looking for, and that I would enjoy working within the team.

Cons

I applied for the position via LinkedIn on 11/06/2024. I was offered an interview on 11/07/2024, so there was a bit of a gap between submitting my application and hearing back. I had a series of interviews, with the final interview being on 13/08/2024, so overall the process was quite slow. This was due to interviewers being on annual leave over summer, which is understandable. Overall, this didn't put me off accepting the job, I just would have loved to have been able to start sooner!

Pros

Some members of the company are the best people you’ll ever meet.

Cons

Genuinely a complete mess. Incompetent, passive aggressive leadership that repeatedly makes both poor and confusing company decisions. I have some absolutely crazy stories from things I’ve witnessed here. There’s things that are so bizarre and dysfunctional, they belong in an alternate reality.
