Pros

-friendly employees and friendly culture -nice office -flexible wfh -no office attendance requirement for now -some genuine and capable management -some hidden gems across juniors and leads -no micromanagement

Cons

- mostly staff augmentation with IT consulting + sales mentality - no allocation of time for strategy - no space for creativity or innovation - will promise and agree on doing strategy development to engage with old and new clients but will jump on the body shopping bandwagon at the earliest opportunity to prove revenue metrics for the end of the year and ditch everything else (or subtly influence you to do more work) - billable, billable, billable - not an exec? your opinion only matters superficially - you are required to be and think like them. Whatever you propose will be adjusted before being delivered. - very political - very cheap equipment -very cheap training budget - integration between NTT and Everis is bringing more staff augmentation and bureaucracy. Will take a lot of time before it gets any better Wanna join? dont believe any promise

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
