Pros

- good PTO benefits - some good selling resources - good people outside of the sales team

Cons

- losing customers left & right - co workers consistently stabbing you in the back to get in with upper management - upper management looks at you as a number and not a person - failing products - no respect from channel partners - zero communication throughout the company when changes are happening - consistent lay offs

NTT DATA Response
7y
In an effort to be current in the market, companies like Arkadin sometimes need to right-size departments. Certain technology becomes outdated and newer emerging technology takes over. That can cause shifts. We are sad to hear you had a less that stellar experience in sales. We wish you all the best in the future. We continue to grow and as with any company, we wil have growing pains, but ultimately hit our goals.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.

Pros

- Strong global presence allows for diverse projects, clients, and opportunities - Enabled and encouraged to learn new technologies, use tools, and grow skills - Generally supportive teams and cross collaboration - Great work-life balance in many roles

Cons

- Compensation and raises can be slow, infrequency, and below market - Personal Development review process can be unclear and slow - Processes and decision making around them can feel very outdated, there seems to be a lack of structure and clarity around many HR and business operations areas - Very little employee recognition - Critical benefits information isn’t distributed well and there is zero follow up actions to ensure we have all important access/accounts set up
