Pros

It's a big company so there're a lot of opportunities to move around if you're tired of your current position.

Cons

The semiconductor industry is a tough one. For the most part, do not ever expect to find reasonable work-life balance here. Messages at odd hours are rampant, as are expectations to be available out of work. The new leadership is tough, demanding, and expectations are high. Lots of departments struggle with high turn-overs. While collaborative teamwork is encouraged, obvious as a matter of business needs, there is some serious mismatch of expectations amongst different departments, and a tendency to misattribute tasks & actions to the wrong owners, leading to higher stress and worse results. Top management does not seem receptive to changes; either that or something has gone wrong with middle management who seems squeezed from both sides. While there seems to be a lot of training programmes within the company, they are not really useful to the actual jobscope.

Pros

Strong organizational growth – The company is continuously expanding, which creates exciting opportunities for career development and new challenges. Attractive RSU compensation – With the recent significant rise in stock price, the RSU (Restricted Stock Unit) package has become a highly rewarding part of the overall compensation.

Cons

Organizational silos – Each team or department tends to operate in its own silo, which can limit cross-functional collaboration and visibility into what other groups are working on. Overly strict internal security policies – While data security is important, the current policies can be excessively restrictive, making it difficult to share documents and resources even among colleagues working toward the same goals. This can slow down productivity and hinder efficient collaboration.
