Pros

- People are very sociable and engaging. - The company was very accommodating to the technology requirements of my specialized position.

Cons

- No work/life balance. Something that was touted as a core company value when I interviewed was LifeTime's deep commitment to integration of one's work and personal life. Total BS. They may *provide* every employee with a free Platinum grade membership (mid-level), but personally, I never had the chance to use it since I was working 70 hours a week from the first day. I was told that many people joined the company because they were "tired of working 60-70 hour weeks" elsewhere. Hmmm... - Simply put, this was the most UN-healthy place I have ever worked. A feeling shared by many of the staff. A young woman sitting next to me, who started several weeks before I did, was sitting at her desk in tears one afternoon - I never saw her again. - I was told in my final meeting with senior management that LifeTime is a "performance-based company" (whatever that means), and that they would always demand more, regardless of how well I performed. Basically, what they were saying is that my best was never going to be good enough. - It is a company that relishes the fact that it is a powered by "Type-A / Driver-Driver" personalities, who thrive on maintaining a daily, stress-induced adrenaline rush. If you're into that scene... go for it. If you want a life that doesn't involve fanatical dedication to the company and to working-out in their facilities in your "free time", resist the temptation, and keep looking for a good job somewhere else.

Pros

Free Membership Cool employees Discounts on services

Cons

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
