Cool coworkers and GM, but low pay and poor management - Sales Associate LA Fitness Employee Review

Very low pay for the amount of stress/pressure. Corporate is terrible, rude and arrogant, The club constantly has broken machines, and corporate goes there to micromanage employees (the color of shoes they wear, the type of chair they sit on, all kinds of irrelevant things) but never fix anything at the club. The personal training there is a huge scam, we constantly had customers threatening to sue the company because of that. Front desk staff is the most overworked with the lowest pay. No safety for female employees who close the facility late at night. Bathroom stinks often not because the cleaning staff doesn't do their job but because of the plumbing situation at that club.
