Pros

Strong brand name that adds value to your resume Opportunity to work on large-scale projects with modern technologies

Cons

I worked at Dell for three years, and while the company has a strong brand, the overall experience was disappointing. The salary is significantly below market standards, and the benefits are not competitive. There is no structured promotion cycle—even after five years of total experience, including three years at Dell, career progression was nonexistent. Additionally, despite being the only resource from my team in the office, I was still required to commute every day, spending four hours on travel. This rigid and unreasonable policy made work-life balance extremely difficult. If you're looking for fair compensation, career growth, and flexibility, this may not be the right place. Cons: Salary is significantly below market standards Limited or no promotion cycle, even after years of experience Poor benefits compared to competitors Rigid return-to-office policy, even when the team is remote, leading to long daily commutes Lack of career growth and recognition for consistent performance

Pros

The people are the best part of this job. I have met so many amazing people in this role. Even some I would consider life long friends. I think the experience gained from this job has also been useful for any sales role you may need for any future endeavors in sales or the tech industry.

Cons

Upper management has made many changes to the compensation and the metrics which has for sure effected employee satisfaction. Turnover rate is insane as there’s a new hire class literally every month. Dell itself is running out of room and they are not making any new teams for the new hire classes which has left more tenured reps in a vulnerable position.
