Pros

Good salary and benefits package.

Cons

Toxic work environment. Opaque and ever-changing pathway to promotion.. Goalposts shifted mid cycle by narcissistic partners, and decisions are not based on ratings/reviews, but on whose face fits the EY model of type-A personality only. Very little to no diversity (gender and race) in team, and no intention to remedy this. Appalling retention rate for employees and huge dissatisfaction. Mental health issues abound with staff members. Absolutely drowning in bureaucracy in accepting new clients. Process can take months and severely impacts financial viability of project, for which you will then be blamed entirely. Zero training and mentoring given outside of Assurance department Forced to miss-sell and exaggerate experience and skills of team in order to pitch to clients - overpromising and under-delivery are keywords.
