      Pros

      Deloitte has many advantages gleaned from its large size. I enjoyed my opportunities to work with and learn several systems. The younger employees most often are great to work with.

      Cons

      A lot of their image is inflated by their pub materials. I worked in a boring, repetitive assignment with incompetent people who would rather bicker than communicate effectively.

      Pros

      Supportive of personal/professional goals. Plenty of opportunities for high performers, even if not within the same group. Very stable in terms of company. Collegial/collaborative atmosphere (can be good or bad, just depends on your personality/work style).

      Cons

      Like most large companies, geared to lowest denominator (think teacher behavior in public school), not even the lowest common denominator. Because of the numerous audit relationships, personal investment options are VERY limited, especially for client service personnel and sr. leadership.

      Excellent training Diverse and quality clients - excellent experience Good people with supportive work environment

      Cons

      Long hours - limited work/life balance No significant increases in remuneration unless promoted Bonusses insignificant and not always performance related Need to deliver significant level of new clients/business and have exceptionally strong business and personal case to get to Senior level. Due to size/environment - significant internal politics
