Pros
A lost of decent hard-working and honest people still work there, so if you're lucky you will have pleasant co-workers. Company pension contributions are good.
Cons
The entire company exists to line the pockets of the endlessly greedy executive team. Customers and employees only feature in the nauseating corporate spin, whereas the reality is that they really don't feature in the priorities of the top team. For the last four or five years I have felt very sorry for the wide-eyed new graduate entry starters, who believe they have joined a really great company to kick-start their careers. They invariably receive zero meaningful training and very little interesting work. Worse still, they have found themselves in an organisation in free fall. The majority of people are concerned for their own job security, which is fertile ground for those who thrive on fear and bullying. Avoid at all costs!
