Pros

If you're an exec or in sales, they love you

DXC's CEO took a victory lap through our offices after acquiring us. "Who are your competitors?" he actually asked us, "Let me know and we'll buy them!" And then began a long period of DXC dismantling every shred of culture in my business unit. Staff get gaslighted into believing they don't deserve a raise, not even to match CPI. Every company meeting and performance review begins with dire projections of profits and how that means nobody will be rewarded. Well, nobody except execs and sales staff. During my time here, two of my colleagues suffered nervous breakdowns and others were bullied. All this while the Managing Director of ANZ drives his Maserati into the Sydney main office, knowing full well how low staff morale is. In the end remember, your career can only get better from here, because rock bottom has a name, and it's "DXC."

Pros

Weekends and holidays off Some holidays paid My worksite has great people to work with

After changing to DXC less holidays are paid now No raises at all no matter what you do or how long you've worked there. New people being hired are making more than you for the same position Very greedy company, laid off tons of employees at my job site. Having people who aren't qualified take over jobs that were laid off. Company clearly doesn't care about its employees as we have had a few different things broken for months. Very misleading management, give you false hope Use of very old software which harms productivity but also can pose a very big security risk to sensitive information They will ask more of you / raise quotas without any kind of compensation They took away accrued vacation time and replaced it with flex vacation. I'm assuming they did this so people can't cash out their vacation time at the end of the year. Another greedy move by the company. No room to advance at all really.

Pros

some very good people work for this entity - they deserve so much better

Cons

1) cost cutting on a massive scale 2) no pay increases from day 1 of employment 3) confused and muddled upper,middle and lower management structure 4) virtually no presence in the IT market place (in the outside world, nobody has heard of DXC - its even worse that no-one within the company can explain what DXC actually stands for - maybe it's pronounced 'Dixie' as in the flag? or maybe) 5) staff and customer confidence in DXC is non-existant, regardless of what some on this thread may have you believe.
