Pros

good hiring support ,Languages assistance provided ,Training programs using coursera and udemy, Hybrid mode ,remote work

Cons

Very very low pay. Way lesser than market standard. Impossible to survive in Porto or Lisbon and they are not interested in discussing salary revision. Worst management I have ever seen,Multiple Managers but never one to one happen, no interaction , even though you try to mail, msg they never get connected . Giving any work for mostly not new technology but no training provided, no support. Expat You need to pay 3 time more what they spent on you during hiring process Dear Expats, Don't join here and don't wait for them, they may cancel the offer anytime. They don't have any ethics, don't trust them. If you are coming, please change the company ASAP. There is no job security

Pros

1. There are 300,000+ global employees and unlimited opportunities for growth 2. There are tons of resources available 3. There are great mindsets and philosophies at play from executive leadership

Cons

1. There is incredible amounts of siloing between teams 2. There is little-to-no direction from direct supervisors 3. There is zero training and onboarding when you join a new role 4. There are a lot of bandaids rather than solid policies and that makes it impossible to set standards and processes 5. You are just a number in the grand scheme of things

Good place to work

Pros

I joined it when it was Aricent and got to be a part of the Cisco Project. If you are a fresher, then it is a good place to learn and enhance your abilities. I got an opportunity to be a part of the backend team of the Cisco Unity Connection Project. When I joined this project, I know nothing means nothing. After getting into that project I learnt a lot in Java, Networking, shell scripting, how backend works, Rest Api's, Performance etc. 1. A very good environment. 2. Seniors are very supportive and encouraging. 3. You will get a proper appreciation for your good work. 4. My manager is very nice, if I get a testing work, which is of not my interest. She helps me to get my some dev work.

Cons

1. Nothing can be worse than it became a part of Capgemini now. (So, this year there will be no compensation cycle) 2. Hikes are very less. 3. On release time, no work-life balance. You need to give sometimes 11-12 hrs of the day. 4. Multiple tasks in a sprint.
