Pros

* Great name to have on your CV - impressive to future employers. * If you survive a couple of years here, you will learn a lot. Particularly true in areas of difficult stakeholder management.

Cons

* Burberry from the outside may appear to be an exciting and progressive brand, but on the inside change is very slow and the expectations put on employees are unmanageable and unrealistic. * Big talk on flexible working, but in reality you're expected to be available at all times (evening and weekends included). * You will spend a lot of time developing project plans that will never come to fruition - meetings to plan future meetings, lots of Powerpoint decks, very little actual delivery. * Diversity & Inclusion is only a priority because they had negative media on this topic. * Very old-school in approach to hierarchy which makes it difficult to get anything done. * Lack of respect between different teams and departments, which means that every meeting that requires cross-functional collaboration feels like a challenge. * Employee feedback is not valued and senior leadership do not interact with their people. * Limited employee benefits. * No opportunities for progression, and very limited investment in Learning & Development.

Pros

Burberry is globally recognition and has been able to successfully re brand many times

Cons

It all depends on who your manager is. Environment is catty and employees take credit for things they shouldn't. No career growth and they work you till you're exhausted without any recognition.
