Pros

Great office space and inspiring place to work and definitely a great moment to have had.

Cons

Poorly executed restructures and a staggering lack of investment to infrastructure. Words and actions have a huge disconnect and there’s no transparency or a nuance around how people behave. The lack of honesty and trust grows by the day and closer monitoring across our platforms of becoming obvious. You have leaders who don’t lead or have the empowerment to make good decisions and a toxicity has crept into the organisation whereby people play a game of being a favorite, taking credit for work that isn’t theirs and setting people up to fail. The culture has changed significantly and feels like a US corporation rather than an iconic British brand. Yet these directives aren’t going to work overall yet you’re not allowing a diversity of thought or opinion into the room. People are seen as numbers and despite profit being made there should’ve been a reset with stakeholders rather than trying to over project profits in a global market that has higher rates of inflation and impacted consumer spend. The focus on American and not British holidays and ways of working is also rapidly eroding our culture and heritage. VE Day, Mothers Day UK should be recognised and not just US Mothers Day. There is also more to British culture than a London telephone box and Highgrove. Remember who we are and what we stand for when it comes to people too - dialling down on DEI and Well-Being is really being felt across the organisation and telling people with less resource or support really sends a clear message that people are not valued here. The lack of any colleague recognition or celebration doesn’t make this an enticing place to work and the so called “culture” has been killed by the actions of people who smile to your face but will stab you in the back - and has missed the point of what our brand is actually about or stood for. The way you’ve impacted the people making our product too is truly shocking - as that’s where it all started.
