Pros

Staff discount, summer working hours and a live version of The Squid Games at the London HQ

Cons

Burberry under current CEO has become a corporate farce—slashing jobs, gutting values, and rewarding an elite few while everyone else is left to suffer. Nearly 1,700 roles are on the chopping block, yet bonuses keep flowing for those at the top. Senior LGBT, Black, disabled, and long-serving colleagues have been disproportionately impacted, replaced by a cold, US-style numbers game that has no regard for people, creativity, or the brand’s British heritage. The heart of the business—its people and principles—has been stripped out. DEI, ESG, and community have been tossed aside in favour of cost-cutting and consultancy soundbites. Those who remain are expected to do more with less, in a culture of fear and disposability. Entire families with generations at Burberry have been discarded. This isn’t luxury fashion—it’s fast fashion with a gloss. If this is the legacy Schulman wants to leave, it’s not one of leadership. It’s one of corporate cannibalism.
