Pros

Employee sales the only good thing about this company.

Cons

-Unfair pay, no payrise for almost 3 years, new hires getting paid more than the ones been working in the company for years -No career progression, forget about it, they need a slave to perform perfectly for the laughable wage -Call center vibes- sell sell sell and sell. Luxury brand? Not even near! -Narcissistic management not listening to concerns of the team members -Favouritism on top level. Management promote those whom they like regardless of skills -People are being promoted without the jobs being even advertised equally -People been forced to return to the office while the rest of departments are perfectly working from home

Pros

1. Clothing allowance; direct deposit 2. Discount; 40%, but 50% in Summer and Winter 3. Mostly friendly people 4. Nice offices 5. Can open doors to other luxury brands

Cons

1. Company plays heavy politics and favoritism; if you are liked by senior leaders you'll be first in line for the next promotion. You can even be moved/promoted every 6 months if you are liked a lot! 2. Plays lip service to DEI, where director and above levels are mostly white. 3. Employees are strung along for open positions for promotion; I was overlooked once b/c it wasn't the right time and my team couldn't lose me and another employee was overlooked 3x with no reason why. This despite being encouraged to apply/interview. 4. THEY DO NOT promote into merchandising from within; their logic is they want previous luxury brand experience (Gucci, LV, etc)...but their own employees knowing the brand, product, history, and having relationships with stores don't count. 5. Pay is below market; "we pay a premium, in a lower salary, to work for Burberry", something I heard a manager said. 6. Some senior leaders are known and have been seen berating direct reports with no consequence.

Pros

Brilliant culture Great people Great perks Staff discount on Burberry products and at many other places

Cons

Too much is expected from staff Lack of progression Massive lack of communication Pay is lower than industry standard - Staff discount isn't enough for people to staff to stay. Senior management don't seem to listen to those on the ground and do what they think is best
