Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are good. Hardware is great.

Cons

Super corporate Dress code No freedom Before I started, I was told "you're running your own business, you're free to come in and leave when you choose...most people filter into the office between 8 and 9 though". 3 weeks into a 4 week training, we were told that we'd be covering the Northeastern territory of the USA, so we'd have to come in to match their business hours. That meant a 6:00-7:00 arrival time at the Vancouver downtown office 3 days per week. It's positively absurd for a company to do that. The training is also abysmal. Beyond abysmal. If you're interested in trying to learn an incredibly complex solution by doing NO hands on learning whatsoever, this is for you. If, like most people, watching 100's of videos back to back for 4 weeks with literally no practical training isn't suited to the way you learn, I'd stay away. The one guy that came in, Coach Zink, presented a deck one day that was 90 slides long. NINETY SLIDES.

Pros

Remote work / telecommute is standard now because of COVID. Some good coworkers and some departments are functional.

Cons

Poor top level leadership, including obvious sexism, favoritism and nepotism. Below average pay. No career development unless you're a family member or friend of someone in leadership. Or unless you're a shameless sycophant. Lack of true product vision or innovation. It really is a shame that Boomi has become such a toxic mess. The executive team is either directly benefitting from it (CMO pushing out other women and hiring her friends) or they take advantage of the COVID chaos to hide the company's poor performance and their incompetent leadership.
