Pros

SPACE — there’s not a lot that’s cooler than that, is there? Opportunity to have a huge impact, even as an individual contributor

Cons

Benefits and compensation are not competitive in the region Commute can be pretty gnarly — no good public transit options Titles and career advancement seem totally arbitrary with little transparency Very little trust between upper management and the majority of the work force

Pros

rockets, vision, human spaceflight, coworkers with similar interests

Cons

lower than industry avg pay, no management training or experience- be prepared to be managed by someone thats just been there longer and not someone that has experienced leading humans (leading technical work is not equivalent but blue thinks it is)
