Declining Product and Poor Management
Pros
Cisco is a fantastic company to work for and the benefits are fantastic. You really get the sense that they care about their staff.
Cons
The same cannot be said of AppDynamics. AppD's main issue is the management across the board. Individual's that do a great job of their current job are regularly promoted without anything being done to prepare them for their next role, this has lead to a significant number of leaders lacking the competency required to do a good job. This is especially the case in the Sale Enablement organisation, a toxic working environment where problems are never addressed as the arrogant leadership refuses to acknowledge them. A leadership team that threatens to damage you career with bad references for petty reasons. Not a role I would recommend.
