Pros

Lots of support and great ideas from corporate headquarters. Marketing suggestions and tools. Proven concept. I worked for an incredibly wonderful franchisee who influenced the way I handle people, conflicts, and odd occurrences to this day. I developed skills while working for anytime fitness that have made me a qualified candidate for many lucrative jobs. My experience at anytime fitness really boosted my resume!

Cons

Because it's a franchise, once you become the manager, the next promotion is to franchisee. Unfortunately I don't have the money for my own gym yet so I had to move on to other things. I loved my job at Anytime Fitness, not really any cons about it.

Pros

It's a company that demands that you care for your consumers. I absolutely love working for them because it has forced me to get out and really meet my community which has been a blast.

Cons

Could always get paid more, but who couldn't! My only real complaint I think would be that they don't do enough marketing in my area and since there is a lot of competition, it's hard to draw in new members.

Pros

Being an enthusiast for sport and exercise, having worked my way up in various large gym branches it's refreshing that anytime fitness is member orientated. The gyms are clean, smart looking and full of amazing equipment (depending on who owns that particular gym as part of the franchise)

Cons

Each gym is run differently because each gym is owned by someone else. My experience from my gym made me leave the fitness industry, my boss was rude, disrespectful and had us cleaning more than doing sales. There was also a level of segregation as sales results were fixed based on who he wanted to do well and who he wanted to shout at.
