Pros

Corporate is amazing, so supportive and really encouraging. They provide you with all the tools and if you are proactive, they give you a platform to succeed! The annual conferences are an absolute blast!

Cons

The owner I worked for had no idea what he was doing. He didn't know anything about the industry and didn't care about the members or the employees and how they felt about anything. I have met several other owners who were amazing and treated their employees very well. Not the case with the locations I was at!

entry level, no experience required.

Cons

-members not interested in training -poor pay -no training or support from management -no benefits other than a gym membership (never worked out there though so not really a benefit) -low cost of training leads to lack of commitment from clients -give out free training and require trainers to give comp sessions but don't reward trainers for doing so -no room for growth

Pros

Training manager that got a salary, vacation, and made my own schedule. the members/clients were great!

Cons

salary was lower than minimum wage, owner always changing the terms to make more money even though there was a contract. owner is very manipulative and tries to threaten you into doing what he wants even if it isn't best for you.
