Pros

Working in transaction investigations at Amazon is all about learning efficiency at scale. The tools are Amazon-built, the processes are super structured, and you quickly see how everything is designed for max output. It can feel rigid, but you walk away with a solid sense of operational excellence and how investigations are run at industry-best standards.

Cons

Career growth here is like the salary: flat If you’re a curious soul who likes to dig deep and explore beyond the playbook, this job will crush that out of you fast. The work is monotonous by design — same queues, same steps, same outputs, day in and day out. Some people thrive in that, some people die inside. Add to that the fact that the pay is… let’s just say not “industry benchmark.” You’ll learn a lot about operational excellence but outside Amazon you are someone who is good at a process no else uses!!

Pros

It’s mostly virtual, so that’s flexible. The hours are fixed and you don’t have to work for extra hours(unless you want to -which are paid).

Cons

The work life feels like you’re stuck in the same runt, the same monotonous work. Receiving an appraisal is such a huge task.
