Pros

System is built for you to learn a ton with little to no hand holding, which is fine for someone coming in with 15+ years of experience. Many smart people in different orgs.

Cons

Although I don't regret having joined Amazon, it has severely harmed both my mental and physical health. The layoffs, orgs reshuffling constantly, and toxic managers/directors/VPs take a heavy a toll on you even if you join as a high performer.
