Not customer obsessed when it comes to employees
Pros
In Costa Rica one of the benefits is that they provide private healthcare with the best private healthcare provider in the country, this includes dental and also optometry. It was a stable company for years in that generally speaking, people were rarely let go.
Cons
One of the main reasons I applied at this company was because they promised growth opportunities and sold the idea that it was easy to grow, this is all relative and it took me 4 years and lots of hard work to "grow" or move up just 1 level, this was true for many of my colleagues. There was a lot of uncertainty many times when it came to management, who to report to, what was expected, and what to do to move up in the company, Employees were encouraged to express their concerns and provide constructive feedback, but after a while of providing constructive feedback and voicing concerns and fact based opinions, less growth opportunities were provided to the point where growing was no longer an option.
