Pros

None. Seems high rewarding but you will find teenagers managing other 10y more experienced people with no clue of what real life is

Cons

Teenagers leading people with no clue of real life work environnement. Work life balance inexistent. Company plateaued and you fail to being promoted because you do not work 15h a day. At the same time they reach you if you work out of working hours because they have to show that they care about you. Day after the feedback on you is that you do not show enough "committment". Pay is good but if you divide by working hours is much less than most other companies (where you can have a life outside of the company) it is a rock and roll experience for 1 year only if you would like to have a first experience. Other than that your job should be saying yes to a fake company culture of well being. Good company for direct production workers but as soon as you are manager is like having to do everything but see no result at the end but only being shouted because you don't work enough or you have a different idea about projects or way of working. Only less than 5% has other work experience other that that in amazon and this makes for a black box amd nobady can see things from a different perspective. If you do because you have experience you are confined in an angle and pushed out of the company not to disturb the tunnelvision that is created inside the 4 walls. After 1y everyone leaves

Pros

There is a lot to be learned in Amazon, starting from tools to ways of working. You will definitely be worth a lot more in the job market after having worked there

Cons

Despite a lot of internal and external PR about how much Amazon cares about employees and their wellbeing, the truth is that you are just a cog and they would stoop to increasingly harassing techniques to have you resign. Also, leveling up is much more about politics than meritocracy
